Thread: Main Gearstick Re-assembly

Hello all,


Finally got the parts to re-assemble the gearstick but as there was nothing there when I took it out , I'm struggling to work out how it all goes back. I have the order that it goes back in but cant work out what holds the spring in place and what the circlip does. I've had a look in the archives + google but cannot find anything. Any help gratefully received as usual.

You will need to compress the spring and as Dinty said( I think anyway) ties some string around it to keep it there. You will notice a slot where the cir-clip goes to keep the spring from popping out. Once finished cut string with a knife.
