    Mud Tyres SWB

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone is running mud tyres, on a SWB ????
Being so light how is the traction when the roads get wet ????
    Thanks for the replies

I have a set of Bridgestone 674 235/85 16s, which translate to 32", on 0 offset rims that I use on both the SWB Game and the 109 tray back ute (whichever one I have running properly and feel like going 4wding in ). The Game is a station wagon so not quite as light as some but the 109 is an alloy tray back so has no weight in the back at all. No problems on either but in a series you always have to drive to the conditions so it is a matter of knowing what your vehicle behaves like. I will sit on 100kph in the Game on the highway so don't really muck about. Noise is even more of an issue though once you go to muds.

    Cheers,

Rovers ran muds from the beginning, but back then they were just called bar treads, Now they did make some noise if you ran them on bitumen.
    Cheers Scott
