    "The Noisy Car"

    Hi all,

Welcome to my 1978 Lightweight. Called "The Noisy Car" by my boy, for obvious reasons. I hope you like the photo...I didn't deliberately take it with the filter, but I think it suits the car.

I hope it's ok listing on the Series 3 forum, and not the military section...but I thought it much more closely related to a Series 3 than a Perentie.

I'll post several more times over the coming days, with a few bits of info, and some questions on things I need a bit of help on...

    Simon

    Nice.
I found the noise level fell somewhat from "Catastrophic" to just "Ear Damaging" , when I removed the hard top on the Diesel. The 109 is horribly noisy , I think mainly its everything shaking itself to bits rather than anything specific.
    cheers,
    D

That is a neat little vehicle, but you could have posted it in the 'Military Land Rovers' section under the heading 'leaf sprung military vehicles' which is the correct catergory anyway it doesn't really matter, it's here for all to see, cheers Dennis
