Been a while but got some more done the radiator support panel had its usual rust at bottom
Rusty part cut out
Repair section welded in primed and spray putty
bulkhead and radiator support in spray putty waiting on prep for paint
Now to find time to rub back prime and paint

The colour is Telecom Gold. Civil Aviation and Commonwealth Works used similar yellows but are noticeably different. PMG fleet colour was Mercury Red.

Thanks for the info but Mine is definitely orange thou and was definitely ex Telecom as you can still see on doors telecom wording and previous owner bought at a government auction with the paperwork which I will pick up one day when I can be bothered driving 400 km ha ha

Well weather was good so thought I try my hand at painting
Didn’t do too bad of of job at end of day it’s only going to get scratched and dirty as it will be a daily driver and a tackle a few trails when done![]()

Yep, I recalled there was a name change then but for the life of me I couldn't recall what that was.
It was of course Telecom.

Can’t put too much on bulkhead as it still needs to be set up to tub but I am putting off doing the tub till next year![]()

Don't quote me on this but, I think the ignition coil cannot be mounted upside down as they will leak cooling oil. At least the old ones used to. ? ?
