What configuration do you have? Ie; engine/ gearbox type/ witch vehicle model? I have a few cars in the driveway so hopefully 1 might match up.
Cheers

Hi. I've decided to install a removable crossmember for the gearbox. I got all excited and charged ahead with cutting out the old one, without taking any measurements off it. Woops.
I noticed when i re-hung the box casing on the bellhousing that it wasn't quite centered between the chassis rails. I'm hoping someone can tell me if it should be, or if not, some rough measurements for the gearbox mounts to the rails? I'll be sitting the seatbox and gearbox tunnel back in to check the levers all line up, but some conformation numbers would be nice

Its a series 3, 2.25 petrol, and the gearbox is a suffix 'A'

I have the seatbox out of my 2A at the moment, so I can get the measurement for you.
From the side of the hand brake drum it is exactly 300mm to the chassis on the left side.
Also on the left side it is 172mm (6 3/4") from the flat area where the gear box filler plug is to the chassis.
I used a telescopic gauge to measure these so any error would be minimal.
Cheers, Mick.
