there is an olive compressed onto the pipe (most likely just after the hose clamp) the union nut that is up from the end of the hose compresses it into the next fitting in line.
You can purchase the correct fitting that terminates in a barb that is appropriate for a hose to be clamped to. So long as the olive is well mounted you dont have anything to worry about.
IF you remain worried, remove the hose clamp, remove the hose lightly sand and polish the pipe with some wet and dry then solder the olive to the pipe. This will prevent it from ever coming off and you can rely in it to provide a flare that the hose clamp wont slide past.
