Thread: Demister Hose bases - lower fascia

Has anyone replaced the rubber connector base that is fixed to the lower fascia that the demister hoses sit in? The passenger side one on Woodstock is holding up quite well but the drivers side one looks like a Christmas Balloon found behind the sofa in June. I'm thinking that's not all that helpful in doing what they are supposed to do. All ideas appreciated as always.

found this in Clark Rubber - some kind of pool bung or stopper - just about right in the flange dept to cover the hole. Will be interesting to see how it copes with the heat.
