    Hey can anyone help? What does this number on the top of this plate mean?

    Possibly the plate says "Produced by L Sydney" even though it's a Leyland LR I don't think that badge is a Leyland badge (unless someone confirms it is) it just dosnt look Leyland enough lol

    Google Leyland and you'll come up with the same logo, probably changed over the years.

    That is the silver plate is old Pressed Metal Corporation badge updated to Leyland Australia - just means the vehicle was made/assembled by Leyland Australia - the numbers on the silver plate are the Leyland Aust sequence numbers.

    For the OP - sorry not sure what that top number is.
