Colin,
Try Norden at 60 Bennet St Dandenong. I've used them for custom brake hoses on various race cars over the years. Always well priced.

I'm currently working on a Series III FFR and I need flexible brake lines for the front.
Because of the extended spring hangers on the military version the pipes are about 2" longer than standard.
Standard hoses are about $6 from the UK (plus freight) and $15-20 locally.
I requested a quote from a brake supplier and they want $110 plus GST each. Despite sending a sketch they also wanted a sample pipe.
The price is probably fair (I'm involved with Industrial Automation and appreciate the economies of mass production) but I'm looking for a lower cost alternative.
Each end is 3/8" UNF for flare nuts and from hex to hex is 14 1/2" (370mm). Sketch attached.
Does anyone have a better priced source ??

A long way from you mate, but our local brake guy is also a Land Rover owner and has a Deefer and a couple of Discos so he's always happy to see what I bring him - I had 2" longer lines made up for mine for about $50 each (IIRC) around a year or so ago.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Thanks Alan & Gavin.
One of my boys works at as a trainee mechanic, not sure who they used but pipes are being made as I type this for $47.50 each plus GST.
Made to sketch as they seem to know what they are doing...
He's also getting me some track rod end boots. I've found the ones from most LR suppliers last about 3 years in the dark before they perish ! Roadsafe ones are $28 for 8off boots (they come in a pack of four) the only thing is they don't come with a garter spring for the small end but they are tight enough anyway.
I can dig out the part number if anyone is interested.

Hi Neil,
Turns out they are a pack of 2 so I only got 4 for that price ! Also rather than a garter spring they have an expandable coiled strip (difficult to describe). Fortunately I saved the garter springs from the old boots (yes I'm sad & a hoarder....).
I was 'back dooring' them out of RoadSafe some years back when I had reason to be going past their warehouse regularly.
These the young bloke got from Bursens at 'trade'.
Part number RB18K
Looks like I need to get back to Braeside at some point and see whether I still have an account there, might be a couple of months away.....

I was just after the same thing. I read that early RRC lines are longer and the same fittings, but couldn't confirm the length or find them listed on any online parts site.
I got braided lines made up for $75 each. Seems expensive compared to stock lines but I think you'd struggle to get rubber lines made up for much less than $50 each, so not too much more. NZ company but I think they ship to aussie https://nz.helperformance.com/custom-brake-hose
I'm sorted now but was thinking the same.....must be a vehicle with similar flexible hoses but longer.
eBay
Above supplier lists that they are Imperial fittings, just need someone to determine the length and there is a cheap supply of Series III extended flexible front brake hoses.
I'll pop over to the Rangie section & ask !

Apparently the early Rangie ones are 440mm against my 370mm both UNF threads.
As long as the extra length doesn't get in the way they would have been a cheaper option.
On the FFR the hoses & wheel cylinders are UNF threads and the master cylinder threads are Metric ! Why am I surprised, it's a Land Rover after all.
Could have been changed in service I guess.
