    Series III seats

Does any one know where is the best place to get seats?

would it be better just to get some one to make them up or is there any that has them?

    cheers,

    cheers,
They are really hard to get. (Decent ones anyway). Tony's going to buy some canvas & do mine for me, as he has an industrial sewing machine. I'll post pictures when he's done it. Though may be awhile yet, after all the money I've spent on my baby for rego. I need a canvas top too, as the old one's rotten, so he's going to have a go at that too.

As in, do you need new seat bases?
Or do you just need some re-upholstery done?

I've got a middle and left seat complete, in reasonable repair, now redundant due to a Bostrom 700 series drivers seat, and 2 place "crew" seat being fitted. And both to be fitted with nice sturdy canvas seat covers.
No drivers side seat, sorry, it had been replaced when I bought the truck.

They will never go back into mine, they will only take up space and deteriorate.
My mate goes back to work next week, so I can get them to any Smorgon Steel depot on the east coast for nix. Make an offer.

Tomorrow? It's dark out there now.

    Everything for $100.

Everything between the firewall and the rear tub bulkhead.
Seat box, floor plates (t\case section as well), seats and backs.
    Just no drivers seat.

I can no longer fit them, because of the new 5 speed truck gearbox and shifter tower, and I don't want to cut them up, I'm already sick of moving them, so they're to go to who ever can best use them.

    Shorty,

When you get a chance would be great. Sorry I didn't mean you had to go out in the dark & take them!

    Thanks.

    Okey Dokey.

How about these. I turned the seats around in No. 3 to show the other sides.

All the rust colour is only geniune Northern desert red sand. You can even have that.
I've got plenty more where that came from.
And, as I can't refit any of this without cutting into it, I reckon it is all better of going to someone who is doing a "resto", rather than the mod work I am.

I'm on the Murray at Tailem Bend in SA.

However my Landlord is a scrap truck driver, and goes up and down the east coast weekly. If you can get to a Smorgon Steel depot IYCC (in your Capital City). I reckon I can organise delivery.

Be a week or 2. He starts again next week, then picks up the new truck end of week, back on the east coast run week after that.
