    Stage 1 V8 wgn

Well I bought a 2a and was thinking of fitting a V8 and Lt95 box into it, so I went out and bought all the gear ( V8, box, panels etc ) and then found out I would need to change the front axle to a stage 1 or similar plus update all the braking etc

So after alot of thinking I decide to buy Landyandy's stage 1 and start all over again

Stripped dash waiting for the custom one to go in, but need to do alot of re-wiring as its had previous fire's

    Waiting for new seating

Capstan winch fitted to front but will be removed as I don't want it

There is alot of things need doing like all the wiring is ????? but hopefully by new years there will be a stage 1 parked in the drive instead of the disco.

If anyone needs panels, g/box, v8 etc have a look in the markets as there all for sale including the 2a

    Update

I have been sorting out the wiring and interior of the beast, I have removed the previous owners nightmare of wiring (about 4kg) and have found all the melted wire's which will be replaced in time.

    Test fit of front seat

    Rear fitted

    Rear draw system

I am waiting for parts to arrive so will post more shortly

Have done a bit more over the last week or two

    Fitted new ignition switch
    Fitted re-con radiator
Fitted front seats (then removed again)
Fitted new top and bottom radiator hose's plus new heater hose's.
Fitted new bose kit for sports steering wheel

Next will be to finish off the wiring and put in the custom made lower dash and gauge's etc

    Just a small update

I have re-installed all the cooling system and then found out that the water pump is stuffed so instead I turned to doing the custom dash again.

Just waiting for some gauges and then all the wiring can get sorted once and for all

I am watching with interest. I wouldn't have thought of putting those components into a series III. I like what you have done with the drawers.

But I do think keeping the fuel tank in the rear is better than in the passenger seat footwell.
