IMHO you could get a fairly good small car for the price of the conversions: saving fuel, higher speed and less wear on the Landy. Do you not have the space for the SIII to park when not in use? I use a SIII for a daily driver, but I'm close enough to cycle to work (which I do a couple of days a week) so Landy fuel consuption not a big issue, and I can keep up with the 50km/hr traffic pretty well.
