    Unhappy Original parts needed

    hi all i am trying to rebuild my gearbox box and need some genuine NOS parts..looking for a FRC2084 layshaft and a FRC1810 revers idler gear.. they seem to be unobtainable here in oz and i tried dunsfold and the nice chap there told me he would not embarrass himslef by sending these rubbish parts out here.. i tried blanchhards in the uk and got my parcel today and they are rubbish.. if there is anyone out there thant can help im all ears and would be appreciated

    Have you tried British Motor Imports in Mulgrave (Sydney) they supplied the bits I needed for my recent SIII gearbox re-build.

    When I rebuilt my IIA box I found a near new mainshaft and a few other bits in the vast stocks at FWD motors in brisbane.

    might be able to help out....

    Ive still got some parts left over from the SIII box I had that spat the casing.

    if not if you can wait till Im back from the cape you can have the box thats in fozzy as Im going back to a IIa box when I get some time.

    You could also try 03 - Land-Rover Series 3 - Online Shop Pegasus Parts, Surrey, UK as they seem to have a bit of new gearbox bits.

    If you can't get NOS I have a used layshaft, stamped "C" I wouldn't know if it is a FRC2084, the "spare" reverse gear I have is cactus so I guess you could say it's not really a spare.....
