    Running to cool

Hi, can anyone tell me at what temp should the top and bottom hose be? Reason being, i have fitted a new radiator and temp sender because my temp used to be in the mid to high range on the dash gauge in summer and doing beach work. I think my series 3 diesel is running to cool now ? I have a 88 deg thermostat in, i think but will check, but since i have not driven it much since summer i am not sure what is going on?

    Regards
    Will.

the diesels do run cooler than the petrols till you start working them then they warm up.

fozzy runs at about 65 degrees unbtill I labour up a hill then he gets to about 90. (if the hills long enough)

thats the coolant temp at the back of the block.

Ok, cool That sounds about right then i used a laser temp guage thingy and got about that. So i guess all is good and the new radiator is making a difference.

    Thanks heaps.
