    Chassis rust

"New" rear cross-beam - looks rough but has nothing but surface rust and a couple of dents, and front and rear photos of the rusty section of the existing chassis.

Way to go Lane, you're kickin' ass. Good on you Wozza for helping out. A few more weeks and you'll be on the road. Gees, I have been at this for months on mine!

We have been drying our panels in a shed with two 500w flood lights on a stand, works a treat.

    Thanks Wozza. Organised for Saturday.

All I need now is a new Hall Effect sensor and dizzy cap for electronic ignition dizzy that was damaged in the fire... I can't work out the brand of this after-market item, so that makes the sensor and cap replacement tricky.

I'm not sure how quick we'll be on the road, TJ, but we're repairing, not restoring.

Well, we're trying to avoid the work of a restoration, but ...

The lights sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the tip!
