    Series + 101 in Desert Crossing vids

    I tried to add this to the "Series Video Clips" thread, but it has been closed for some reason.

    These are a couple of vids about crossing the Sahara with 3 or 4 series LRs + a 101.

    I drove across the saraha in 1972 in a series 2a lwb started in England and ended in Cape town.

    Well, you can't just leave it there! Post up a few photos so we can check out your trip (although I am assuming that your photos will be film and not digital, so perhaps it's not that easy ).

    That's a massive drive. How long did it take you?

    That diff making it as far as it did without oil is a good testament. Interesting...they're using standard thinny tyres...on sand too.
