    Bar removal

On the 5 door wagons can you remove the bar from behind the front seats or does it need to be there for body stiffness.

Is it possible to make one that does not interfer with the front seats

Structurally I cannot find a difference between series and 110 B pillars, so I don't see that the bar cannot be removed, and have seen it done before.

Isn't the bar just there to support the backs of the original seats? So if you have buckets fitted then it isn't necessary.

Or - he could get a couple of replacement end plates laser cut (to space the bar back far enough)
