    Scott,

4 Wheel Drives have sold some of the repair panels for years so bulkheads are being repaired in Australia. Typically they carry the door hinge pillar panel and footwells plus they are now getting the corner panels around the vents to keep in stock.

Thank you for that Colin. I have dealt with 4 Wheel Drives a fair bit over the years and but had forgotton they carried the repair panels! Those cataloges are very handy I took the door lining off and had a look behind and it looks as though the doors , tops and the bottoms are history too!! ahh well its only money ( who said that?)
It is a rebuild of course so its like topsy, It just grows!!

    Cheers Scott

Thought I would put up some pics of 'Liz' before I start hacking into her!
Showing the rust spots and general condition. Not that Im starting work anytime soon Nothing major anyway. Am starting to squirrel bits away though as and when I can. So far the biggest ticket items appear to be 4 replacement doors! Tinworm has fed well! The original color is a bit different to what I have seen before too, it appears to be a blue/grey, more blue than grey?

Hmm, Have run into first snag in the plan to replace the holden motor with the L/Rover 6 again. The gearbox in 'Liz' has been replaced with a 4cyl 1 and the 2 spare 'boxs that came with it are not 6cyl 'housings Dang it! The box appears to be an early S2 box with the removable filler/vent cap on top of the selector housing.
So now the hunt is on for more bits. I scored a good 2.6 head and bits off EvilBay for my block so thats there. Just have to pull the motor down and do the rings and bearings though.
Just some more pics of the condition of the car.

    Cheers Scott

Well, nothing to report Am having a slack attack in regards to furthering Liz along the way to going again. Oh and work is in the road too 'tis the time of weaning and stock work that has been on the back burner due to seasonal events.
Does any 1 has a spare 2.6 carby lurking in the shed ? They seem like rare! Thought I was going to get a new 1 off EvilBay but got piped! Grrrr And the bell housing is still at large too!
    Ahh well time enough yet.
    Cheers Scott
