I think it depends on who is looking at it.... I had one inspector wanting both, another was happy with just the plate...

    cheers
If you have a receipt with the correct chassis number, you should have little drama.
It looks fairly original and in reasonable nick.
Clean it up, get a RWC, and present the vehicle, RWC and receipt at a Vicroads office for registration.
Oh, check the vehicle securities register for the chassis and engine numbers.

I have little doubt it is a 2/2a, probably the latter, from dash, hinges, other details, but with quite a few modifications, including extractors and an alternator, as well as the instruments and extra lights, and carburettor and aircleaner already noted.

Mick rust in passenger A pillar which is put your finger thru but I knew that when I bought it
I am given to believe it is mechanically sound engine rebuilt etc
when I was loading it underside was very clean no oil leaks that I could see
Apparently it was rebuilt owner passed away and it was used for running around farm until a fuel pump issue and it was pushed under a tree and left
The family saw no value in an old land rover
Once I establish what I have I will decide how to make it a lot less hybrid
It also has a full roll cage under canopy odd!!!
    Cheers Paul

thats quite an array of instruments on the flight deck!! And yes 11A is the series I would say. With the bolt/screw/nail(Dont laugh! I have seen it!) build method of landies they can end up looking all sorts of things.
