I had a sand full hood and hoops sent out from Exmoor: the hood cost £268.79, the delivery £398, but that included a whole slew of other parts.... Invoice below.

Must say I'm pleased with the fit of the hood, although the hoops took a bit of gentle persuading to fit.

    Chewers, Mick.
No I didn't - it was an Exmoor trim tilt, but I bought it from All four x 4.

    Spoke to Australian Customs.
No Fee if the value is under $1000.
Just need to confirm with Kim, if the cost is the Mohair hood.

Yup, sorry I supposed Ro say $1000, guess that's why I'm not in retail. The hood he quoted me for was the standard canvas tilt.

I am fairly sure that the freight on a hood stick kit from the UK will be a genuine deal breaker. Ditto the tilt itself depending on your postage pain threshold.

You may be better off getting the ones you have straightened and/or augmented with locally made bits or from wrecks if you can find them.

Admittedly, the canvas tilts look good but really don't enjoy much longevity - either over there or here. For the relative prices hardtops are probably a better long run deal - certainly will outlive canvas by a fair margin under normal wear and tear conditions.

    Cheers,

    One of Toms ordered.
Evening email questions answered by morning.
    Very helpful.
Best to deal with, compared with the other 3 sellers.
S3 SWB 88 full hood, with rear window and exterior, roll up, cover flap. Old style Brass Buckles. Trackable postage $723. @ current exchange rate.
Tom explained he makes them baggy, and probable require two wet down and dry process. He said It stops stitching, shrinking and breaking.
Factory reopens in a week, then a week before posting.
