    UHF Channel for Defenders/LRs?

So we have the wave, is there any possibility on agreeing a Defender or LR UHF channel?

My other half doesn't like to listen to the crap that comes from generally scanning the channels or sticking to the truckie channels...

Is there a channel that I'm not aware of?

Hmmm the same thought has crossed my mind on many occasions.

Channel 10 is often used in the FWD fraternity, though our club, GCLRO, use ch15 usually.

Maybe we should publicise a Chanel specifically for AULRO

Who wants to recommend which channel?

Not a bad idea but is it going to be nation wide or just Queensland?

so what channel then...maybe low teens as they seem to be less used channels...what are the repeater channels, between 1 and 5 for memory, we can't use them..maybe 7, 8 or 9.

    what do you all think?

    Good idea

But down here when traveling around Melbourne you can't find a quiet channel
With quarries, concrete plants, container yards, road works and factories using UHF's it's hard just to talk to someone for 5 mins.
But then I scan and use 8 channels during the day myself

    1-9 are repeater(when available), 22+23 data. 40Hwy(36default now).
What about 20? Isn't it the caravan/motor home channel?
    Cheers, Kyle

Sounds like a great idea. When we were on Fraser i was wondering if there were any other AULRO people on the island. It would be a great way to meet up with AULRO people when were out and about were ever we are.

    I vote channel 20, nationally.
