						Hi all,
Got the new D4 SE & read about Global Opening & Global Closing in the owners manual.
Tried the opening & it works - all windows open!
Tried closing, but cannot get the windows to close at all
Obviously I'll get the dealer to look at it, but has everyone or anyone else used this, tested it, or had similar problems?
Regards,
Les.

I continuously press the lock button on the door handle and I get global closing on my my11 v8. Global opening is with the remote.
Regards.

						Thanks so far guys.
The SE D4 does not have any door buttons, I imagine that may be only the V8 & HSE or maybe if you ordered the proximity remote system option.
As for safety reasons, the windows, like all cars I know of, have a load sensing function which will cause them to stop or reverse if blocked.
I'll get them to enable it while they disable the auto function on the folding mirrors!
I did find one semi undocumented feature so far too.
When you use the headlight button on the remote, it first only lights the headlights, but if you keep pressing it will light the reverse lights as well.
I think the pressing sequence goes ... headlights, then off, headlights, headlights + reverse lights, then off.
Regards,
Les.
I like the global closing on my P38A (although they don't call it that).

After initially asking to have the folding mirrors on mine disabled, which couldn't be done by the dealer anyway, I've decided that using the folding mechanism might keep them working longer. I have now disabled the flashing blinkers on locking/unlocking and use the folding mirrors as the indication, being a more discrete indication.
