    Diff lock light no worky

Took the truck on some light off roading today and when i slipped her across into diff lock the light didnt come on. tried several times, while still and moving.

So how do I tell whether the diff lock is actually engaging?

Could it be as simple as a fuse? Which one, if so.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

ill have a go untill someone that actually knows comes along....find a drainage ditch, cross axle through it so you loose traction, engage difflock and see if that makes a difference.....if your still stuck...not engaged id say.

Jack all 4 wheels off the ground or at least one wheel on each diff.

With cdl on spin the front wheel and one of the rear wheels should turn too.

There is also a sensor on the tc have a look at that and make sure it is plugged in and not full of mud and dust.

It is so simple to check, jack one front wheel up or rear for that matter, lock the cdl, if the car tries to drive off the jack, then the cdl is working, we do this all the time when someone asks us to check a landrover for them. And it is probably a fuse anyway, unless the linkage is bent.
