    Shaky Idle

    Hey Guys,

Just wanted a little advice and wanted to know if i've anything to worry about.

When cold starting my 200Tdi (no starting problems) idles really low and the motors got quite a shake to it, enough to vibrate the bonnet. Once the motor warms up the shake seems to go away and it seems to idle normally.

Is it anything to worry about - all fluids seem fine and there aren't any other symptoms other than the oil temp running a bit warmer (90˚C and up to 100˚C on the highway flat out (but I've never let it hit 100˚C).

Any ideas or am I just being pedantic?

Hmm, injectors could be likely as it has been running cooking oil and I haven't been settling it. I'll buy a new set of injector nozzles ($130~) and give that a try - are they difficult to change?

I'd never start the motor cold on cooking oil so I'm not sure
