Probably helps you to know that the front prop shafts are the same on all 88 and 109 four cylinder Landrovers from Series 1 to 3. 
Unfortunately the sliding joint is usually the bit that wears, but you may find one not too badly worn second hand. Otherwise you have the choice of getting it rebuilt - in NSW at least this must be done in an approved workshop - or getting a new one. Compare costs. Last time I did (for a 110 rear shaft) the cost of rebuilding was about twice the cost of a new genuine part. But this will vary between workshops and parts suppliers, so shop around.
