    Welcome pack

Got the call today asking to confirm my address and the like so that LR could send me a welcome pack.

Can anyone tell me what's in it?

Tried a search to no avail.

    Cheers

    The LR welcome pack ...
A box of tissues so you can wipe away a tear when the first bird craps on you new car.
A stout pair of boots so you can stamp you foot really hard when the EPB fails to release.
A pillow - for your wife/partner/significant other to put under you head after you faint at the first "stealers" service bill.
An extra "thick skin" to help ward off all the unpleasent/stupid/ignorant comments made by Toyota/Nissan/Jeep drivers.
An "upgrade of credit limit" from the bank of your choice so you can start adding all those little "goodies" - bull bar - winch - lights - etc etc ...$$$$

Naaah just joking - you'll love it regardless of what the stealer gives you in a "welcome pack" ....
    cheers

The welcome pack should contain a 1 x Phillips head screwdriver, 1 x blade screwdriver, 1 x tube of silastic, 1 x roll of electrical tape and a card with phone number to ring roadside assist

    Thanks all.

Whilst I don't know if the answers were helpful, I did get a chuckle.

    Wait I shall.

Do we really need one? It's just a bunch of promo gear that ends up on the kitchen bench, shifted to the dining room table, shifted to the office or study.. LR send out a full colour magazine every few months anyway. A Land Rover golf umbrella would have been neat or a big beach towel. HSV sent me a box of stuff after I bought my Maloo earlier this year. I only kept the hat & USB stick, the rest hit the bin.

I think that the welcome pack may vary from dealer to dealer. The one I got from Barbagallo Motors was pretty nice and doesn't sound anything like the one that robocop describes.
