The smoke under load may be caused by injector pump adjustment. Has the pump been adjusted in an attempt to get more power?

BTW. Please turn off the Caps Lock Key.

the pump was changed 6 months ago after the old one sprung a leak. it was smokey with the old pump. i didnt think there was any adjustment on the pump...... but you are now the second person to tell me there is. i know you can adjust the idle speed.

before buying new - take out your injectors, get them tested.

Injector replacement is fit and go.

Has it always smoked or is this a recent thing? Is it down on power?

Air and filters are all good.
It smoked on the old pump aswell. the power is pretty good.
If i could keep the power but get rid of the smoke that would be perfect !
