EGR Removal + EGT location?

Hey guys, have an 05 td5 and have been meaning to remove the egr for a while now, but never could decide on who to give my money too.

In your opinion what is the best kit out there, i have also heard that the blanking plate is a good place to tap for and EGT probe, is this true. I currently have a probe the is 7cm long, would this fit.
