Stick with the same colour saves on masking.
Hi. Im painting the tub, doors, front panels etc on a series 3. Just wondering if I should paint the underside of tub and panels black or the colour( Camino Gold) Im painting the outside?
Regards John
Most left the factory unpainted on the underside.

I repainted the underside of my tub black last week as that was the the existing colour. I also wanted something a little more durable that what I will be painting the top side and the rest of the car with. Slug is correct though in that I am dreading the taping up. Added newly galvanised tub supports/braces yesterday.
And some photos.
Thanks for your responses. Ill have a look, get it sorted and put up some pictures. Cheers
You could go with a spray on "bedliner", which can also be color matched to your liking. Advantage is hard wearing and can provide some sound deading properties. Their are a few different brands out there.
Disadvantage is it is a rough surface so dirt will stick to it fairly easily and could possibly be harder to clean.
