Stick with the same colour saves on masking.

Most left the factory unpainted on the underside.

I repainted the underside of my tub black last week as that was the the existing colour. I also wanted something a little more durable that what I will be painting the top side and the rest of the car with. Slug is correct though in that I am dreading the taping up. Added newly galvanised tub supports/braces yesterday.

    Bed Liner?

You could go with a spray on "bedliner", which can also be color matched to your liking. Advantage is hard wearing and can provide some sound deading properties. Their are a few different brands out there.
Disadvantage is it is a rough surface so dirt will stick to it fairly easily and could possibly be harder to clean.
