D4 query

Hi, hoping an owner can help me as I live a fair way from our nearest LR dealer.

I want to be able to use a 6th seat and have our Waeco fridge next to it over the 7th seat spot.

Is anyone able to measure the width left from side of 6th seat raised to other side, so the width left to slide the fridge in? Also the length from door to 5th row seats?

I was measuring mine earlier today.My 80Lt engel will fit lengthways between the 5th row and rear door.850mm is about the length,could even go close to 900mm.
Cant get the width of the seat,my engel is fitted cross-wise at the moment and there is also a recovery kit in there at the moment.

I'll duck out and try and get the width measurement for you.

But my Engel fits easy... (no slide yet though)




As you can see, tons of width - notice the Akubra fallen between the fridge and the side. Bugger all room left for luggage though once you are using 6 seats and a fridge full

Ok...

From the top of the 2nd row of seats to the closed tailgate - mine is about 930mm

From the narrowest point between the side plastic moulding and the side of the 6th seat is approximately 520mm

Might be tight.... If that's the dual zone the net says it's 500 by 940 including handles.

I've tried to go conservative on the size.. crawling around the back in the dark isn't ideal to get you exact measurements.

Also the side moulding is not flat - so tried to work to the narrowest points for you.

Hopefully someone else can confirm my measurements for you.

I was measuring crawling around crap in the back in the dark....540 might JUST squeeze in.

But you would need to grease the sides I'd say
