    Defender Motorbike Holder

I am interested in buying or having a motorbike holder made for my Defender 130. See beneath:

Has anyone ever bought or or made one of these before? I imagine I will need to have it fabricated?

I think Dinty made one for his S2A LRPV replica.

    Cheers.

Here you go, I knew I'd seen a commercially made one somewhere:

I made one years ago for the back of my County. It was great not having to tow a trailer.

They are commercially available these days, so probably not worth getting one specially fabricated...........unless you can get mates rates

I sold a few dozen of the Newlite BikeHaulers (an excellent product) a few years ago in Perth and surrounds. I believe they're no longer made but there are others - "Google it". It's not worth making one unless you're "in the game" - they are sold at pretty good prices generally.

I have been thinking - what is the legality of a bike carrier? Do you need the brake lights etc.... to be visible?

I would assume if you incorporate lights and number plate into the carrier it would keep the boys in blue at bay and tick most boxes

It's a bit hard to see in the pic, but there are lights on my bike carrier. You definitely need to have your lights and number plate visible, more like this.
