A pic at home
After 8 months wait i finally picked up my Defender on Saturday.
Thanks to all last June for pushing me on the right direction, I am stoked - i cannot get then smile off my face.
On its way is
A Rijidij Hybrid Bar with DRL's removed
Rijidij Spare wheel carrier
Rijidij Telescopic Light
and the a Traxide dual battery and headlight wiring setup.
I have been familiarising myself with the car yesterday - I had wanted to put an mulgo exbox in, but i don't get why i would move the electronics - would it better to put the exbox in and just use it as storage ? (obviously i am missing something).
Also where would you recommend the UHF goes - I have ordered a IC-450? Just wasn't sure where best to hide it.
thanks in advance

Snap! Looks just like mine. Congratulations on the new bus, it looks a treat
Congratulations. Saturday must have been the day for it.
The point of moving the electrics is to get them up higher so less chance of getting wet when wading.
Cheers,
Jon
Thanks.
The misses excepts it purely because it looks good.
it has a hunting trip planned mid March. Looking forward to taking it for some lite 4wd work.

Sweeeet ride. !!! Almost as good as Indus silver with black pack. Haha.is that bronze or grey? Bit hard to tell in the photo. I've started my build process on my my15 too... Just fitted the Rijidij wheel carrier which is great, and ordered the traxide stuff. ...better post a build thread. Great to deal with Aussie manufacturers like Murray and Tim. Also got a Drifta drawer second hand luckily. Will keep everything Aussie made if possible. Looking forward to some nugget stuff bits and pieces.
We are headed to bathurst - just a quick 2 night trip, it isn't hard trail work but i will get to utilise 4wd a few times. Intended target is just bunnies and foxes, and we 99% get ourselves a meat fallow.
Its Corris Grey, didn't realise how much the colour did look bronze in that photo until you mentioned it.
It has been great dealing with Aussie suppliers that manufacture the gear they are selling - exceptional customer service and knowledge.
