Not sure if this belongs in the 'Marketplace Alerts' or 'Everything Else For Sale' sections - these are just cool things I come across which might be fun to add to whatever you haul around when you go trekking.
Some of them might be conceptual, or in development, or seeking crowd funding.
Also, 'Marketplace Alerts' seems to be all actual Land Rovers for sale.

Winter road trip essential...
Looks like you've found something we can agree on there, Mr Landy.
However I thought that such a passionate Defender man as you would prefer this:

I find my Laphroaig much harder to carry in the Defender than it was in the Disco. The rear door bottle holder in the Disco is the perfect size to carry a bottle of Laphroaig in it's cardboard tube. I haven't found a convenient spot in the Defender yet.
Cheers,
Jon
Ah yes, my good mate Roger! Indeed. Thanks Jon, I haven't tried Kilchoman, but I reckon a visit is certainly on the cards :-)
Nestled between the front seat cushion and the centre cubby box is the ideal location for a bottle of Islay's best. It's as though the Wilks gods have inadvertently made sure of secure storage. ...give it a try. 👍
I'll give that a try, but it may not be a good look if pulled over for an RBT.
If you like Laphroaig I can recommend the Kilchoman. Lighter, less peaty with quite a hint of caramel, but still distinctly Islay in character. Have both at home at the moment and which one is my favorite depends on which one I'm drinking at the time.
A visit is definately on the cards for us. Haven't been to Islay yet, the closest we've got to it is Skye, but it's planned for our next trip.
Cheers,
Jon
