Mine is a 1995 Defender 130 HCPU
My current insurer (Affinity Insurance Brokers) will only do an 'agreed value' of $14,274 (odd number) INCLUDING the accessories (listed as 2" suspension lift, air compressor, bull bar, snorkel, towbar, driving lights, winch, UHF radio, and dual battery system.
Of that they value the vehicle at around $9,800 with accessories just over the $4K mark.
Jeez, I wish I'd only paid that.
2 nominated drivers, both old buggers, 60% no claim bonus.
My annual premium is $1,293.
What have other people got theirs insured with, and how much etc ?
Naturally I need a 'real' insurer that will cover my vehicle when it's, well, off-road !

depends what you want to pay
pick the price you think it would cost you to replace it and go from there
i got $15k for around $550 / yr
but it depends how many days a week you drive it and if it is in a shed etc etc

They had to check pricing on my Camel via the UK in the end we ended up agreeing on sufficient amount and yes how much I drove it and where it is stored, suffice to say they recognised the value, and quite well priced for locked up, private garage and only driven a month a year, but anywhere.
