    Electrical Gremlins

    Hello,
Just noticed the other day that my volt meter was fluctuating wildly, put the nanocom on and the voltage varies between 13.5 and 15, then after a few minutes running settles down to varying between 14.7 and 13.7.

Both batteries only at most 2 years old. All connections seem tight. 240000 kms on clock with orignal alternator, anyone got any ideas?

Oh the dual battery system is by traxide.

I’d rather solve the problem now than get stuck somewhere with no power.

    Thanks.

Is the volt meter on your crank or house battery.
Which ever one it is, do you know what the other is doing

    Cheers Glen

Found problem. One nut on the amp meter didn’t have a spring washer and as such the nut could move about 10 degrees so the contact wasn’t the best. Put spring washer in and all good
