You'll need to determine if it's the speaker, wiring or head unit. Probably simplest to start with a speaker swap (is the tweeter still working) and go from there, checking the wiring while the speaker is out.
What head unit do you have? FWIW I did have a cheap aftermarket unit that had a channel die. Swapped to a better Alpine unit.
Thanks, I just swapped the front foot well speakers over and still no noise on right hand side so have ruled out the speaker. Also the right speaker on the top of the dash board isn't working and the right speaker at the rear
of the vehicle is not working. I've had a go at pulling the radio out with the u shaped wire thingies that I got from repco but can't get them to work. I'll probably put this issue on the back burner for a while.
It was the balance.
The vehicle had been in at the dealers getting the injectors replaced. The clock was 10 minutes slow when I picked it up so they must have disconnected the battery.
I think that you have to reenter the radio pin after the battery has been disconnected so perhaps thats when the balance was mucked around with.
Had to get the owners manual to sus out how to get to the balance setting. I didn't realise that you could push the volume knob.
Balance was set to 6L now set to L=R. Radio working perfectly.
I wasn't really looking forward to pulling the radio out!.
