Wink Waypoints for Land Rover specialist that are not a Dealership

Does any one else have address & contact details for Land Rover mechanics that are not dealrship.
The thread with the LR dealships is great but we always need a repairer when we are no where near a major town.
I have two POI that would be helpfull to start off with.
If you give me either and address of name of person or company I can create a POI file to share

    eg:
    De Jong Prestige 55 Newton Crt, Nicholson VIC 3882, 02 5156 8878
    37 47.275’S 147 46.455’E
    WSG 84

    Peter Davis "Roving Mechanical" 0410 503 500
    33 56.2622'S 151 02.1536'E
    WSG 84

    POI for Land Rover service

Most of the POI in this file are the major Land Rover dealers.
I am looking for the smaller out of the ways repairers.
For example when we were on a trip in SE Victoria we needed to get our ABS lights reset and the closest LR dealer was a couple of hours away, by accident we were told of a smaller repairer that could fix our problem without any major detours.

Why not send that info to Mark so he can update his POI file, instead of starting another?

    WGS ??

Now that's a point - who uses WGS and who uses AGD (Australian Geodetic Datum) or AMG (Australian Map Grid)?

I use AMG with my GPS set for Eastings and Northings, not deg:min. This, to me, is far more useful as topo maps are much easier to use in E-N and street directories are also marked out with a grid that conforms to E-N.

Given an E-N location, you'll find that in a street directory, you won't find deg:min.

Also given a location in E-N and knowing your own location in E-N, you can make a pretty accurate mental estimate of how far away you are from the desired location. You won't do that with deg:min. (I'm talking of locations within the same zone.)

I read it as Martyn was clarifying something. The coordinates you gave don't translate easily to a location unless you have the right maps (see my previous post).

Everyone that we go driving with use one of the WGS datums, whether it's 66, 84 or the newer 94, the Nav weekend was a prime example, if other want to use the others, then they can convert them to suit themselves.

Having a second POI isn't bad, i would think having one with the major dealers and another with the smaller out of the way repairers would make it easier.
