    Flywheel set bolts

    Hi all,

Spent the day pulling out the gearbox to change the rear main seal on the 86 .... yes I should have done it before it went back in

Seal was the culprit as expected and all sorted. As usual fixing one problem uncovers another. This time the flywheel set bolts. 2 with dodgy threads that need replacing.

The part manual say PN 210211 but no spec on bolt. Anybody know which LR or bolt place around town (Melbourne) may have a couple or what the specific bolt specs are?

My luck has been limited for S1 bits locally. I assume BSF as my referencing of manuals shows a different one for the 2L diesel and 2 1/4.

Better still if anyone has a couple of spares they could be convinced to part with. I'm keen to get it back together with the next 2 days off.

    Thanks, Dane

Try Bruce Gardner, B.S.F. Bolts, 0408 056 255. He is in Melbourne. Also good for BA stuff and BA taps and dies.
