    SLOW 2013 Heritage Rally



    Just home from our club rally.....and what a great weekend. I'd like to thank, once more, all the fun people who came along and made the weekend a happy experience - such events have no reason to be anything less....

    We had 12 lovely vehicles along for the weekend, with a great selection of Series vehicles...some snaps here from our Saturday lunch stop at the restored church.....



    The "Unexpected lovely vehicle" award winner.....



    Our Concourse d' Elegance winner.....the club's most coveted award....well done Ronnie and Paul, who took home the 1st piston trophy....this workshop is now a multi-award winning vehicle...



    This little lady won the "should join the club" award...nice 80 inch, Scruff...



    And another fine Series 1 - one of 4 on the trip, a great effort....



    These 2 were neck and neck for the 2nd prestigious Shiny Vehicle piston trophy.....125rover50's Tickford narrowly edging out Rozavon's beautiful 107 this year.....there is always next year, John.



    We were even joined by a couple of African Safari operators...thanks again to the lovely folks from Kangani lodge....





    We even have vintage billies in this club.....



    123rover50 does the Kilkivan stomp.....



    Bill was again SLOW's answer to Heston....



    The man from Gatton is a genius with a slice of cheese and a tomatoe....



    Beer o'clock yet? Nope - the SLOW random stare contest. Winner was Lamington Kilmartin.



    We had a very fine roast dinner that evening - a big thank you to the one and only Mrs. H for her help here. Arthur was his usual vibrant self and gave another great speech....and the thunderstorm just added to the atmosphere really, so to speak....



    But we awoke to a sunny morning....I hope everyone had a great time!



    Last attendees to pull camp.....



    And special thanks to a great club man, Killer, for making up the presentation trophies....I was very pleased with mine, although I'm hoping to never win this one ever again!!!!!



    Again, trips like this are made by the folks that come along - it was a pleasure to organise the weekend, the reward being all the smiling happy faces.

    2013 Heritage Run.

    Wish to say thanks to the good folk that did the organization was top
    run event only one down side my Chauffeur did a runner and i had
    to drive myself home what's ? the world coming too.

    We've booked our pet penguin in for a week - he really needs a holiday.....so thanks again for coming along, and for your kind offer - fabulous hospitality....
