Relaxing weekend catching up with friends and putting some more faces to names. Spent a few hours in the saddle getting back to Bundy, but no traffic issues

A couple of pics of the crowd lining up for the Sunday trips, 1 of our campsite and 1 of the twins at Heffrons Lookout on the way home.

Some more piccies of our little trundle on Sunday down to the river, seriously ****ed that Inc. managed to snatch the stone skipping lead off me

Nothing that would really be called challenging but interesting enough

My little milestone on the way back :milestone:

I have some of the Great 6 Cylinder Lift of Glenreagh 2013 waiting to go up, assuming everyone is happy enough to have their mugshot put up

    Cheers

Milestone being you got the Disco to break the 100km/h barrier.
    Bit like warp factor ten.

Yes, would love to see the transferring of the motor.

Muppet, happy for the engine lift pics to be posted if everyone else is. There is also some video that may make it with some luck.

    Oh not you too.
There's plenty more left in the Disco, let me assure you

    Righto, engine lift piccies...

    Being removed from the trailer.

    Engine Out

    Letting the tyres down

    It's in

    All done

Hopefully the video will show the true genius that lead to this historic event, prompted by a bunch of Land Rover nutters standing around a heavy engine, a trailer without a tailgate, and lots of pointing and talking

Well, I piled on another 450KM heading home today with a nice long stop at Nowra to shoot the breeze about all things 101 and Stalwart with 101Ron.. I'll be putting a bit more detail up of our discussions on my 101 thread at some point, but I would really like to say a huge Thankyou to Ron for taking so much time out of his day to show me his toys. I even got to take his 101 for a spin o compare it to mine - it is one very nice setup and I have got lots of things to do to mine now.

Just set up camp at Narooma, here's what I can see from my site while sipping a cold beer.

    Tough life...

    Nice view. A drying towel.

Good to hear you're enjoying the trip home. The south coast of NSW is a very nice part of the country to drive through.

We attempted the north end first but with a bit of respect to fine machinery we turned back and drove to the southern end, but not before taking in the veiws at Sealy lookout, a pleasant drive along the trail a then finishing with wheel placement assisstance to safely descend the northern end.A great drive with some good veiws of the coast.

I would also just like to thank all the sponsors especially Dave as my key ring torch got plenty of use driving back in the dark
