I know its been a long time but will finish it this year as it is the 60th Anniversary of the Royal tour.
Sewing up the bum rests this weekend, picking up the perspex for the screens next week. Still have to sort out how I will fit the carpet up front but getting there![]()

Hi Keith, Cam has his heart set on painting his series 3 the same colour as the Royal Review. Do you have the paint code by any chance for it, or the car shown in a previous post.

The colour of the originals was called Royal Claret.
I had to make it up from some of the faded original left under the numerous coats and from photos of the one in the Gaydon Museum.
It was too red I thought at first so we added more black. To me it still looked too red so I put a flat black undercoat under it. That looked OK.
It may not be true to the original but it suits me
