Motor in my 4wd truck has to come out from underneath.First of I did not allow enough room to slide it out when the old motor was on a trolley. Then I did not have the right height to chain block the new one up.Got about 3/4 of the way up into the engine bay and ran out of chain.

Glad I'm not the only one

Only my slip ups always end up down the valley, dizzy drive or an open port

Classic example a 351 Cleveland.... Change the valley gasket.... dropped a bolt down to the sump but landed on the surge plate. Had to pull manifolds, engine mounts lift the engine to get the sump to clear the pick up. Did it twice

Recently dropped a socket down the rear end of a John Deere Tractor wile I had the top cover off repairing a cylinder on the rock shaft It was very bad. Long way down there and no change of reaching it
