TD5 MAF, Are Genuine worth the Extra Money?

    Hi all,

Looks like my MAF is dead, I have been looking around the net and I have seen genuine MAF's for around 80 pounds. But on eBay UK non genuine ones for around 30 pounds with a 12 month "Warranty” .

Are the genuine ones worth an extra 50 pounds?

Is it like the old saying; you get what you pay for?

so did I, paid $300 originally quoted $370 but they reduced the price

I remeber reading a post on here not that long ago about this,

if you order the non genuine part (sorry can't remeber the brand) it is half the price and if you open the box it still says siemens on the part itself on the bottom
