Classic EAS pressure switch on/off PSI ???
I was given a Classic EAS tank many years ago and finally decided to fit it to my 92 Vogue for on board air for the tyres using the pressure switch to control a compressor. I have fitted it on the LH chassis rail as this appears where it goes on an air suspension RRC.
The pressure switch on the tank does not have an on and off value printed on it. I need to know whether my BIG cheapo Chinese compressor will ever stop or die trying.
Does anyone know the PSI values. I have done a search and a google but no luck.
BTW , used my Rivnut tool for the first time to drill into the chassis for the mounts, and it worked well,( although even though it is a metric tool you have to drill an imperial hole 3/8 close enough to 9.5MM for a 6MM metric bolt . Go figure. I only have metric drills) I used my cheapo Aldi welder to make up a bracket and it did a good job also, although my welds look like snot from a cat with terminal flu. I found the auto helmet I bought at Bunnings to be a GREAT help.
Next job is to source some fittings and hose and the electrics for the compressor which will sit in the RH rear quarter just inside the tailgate.

couldnt swear to it but i think it cuts off at 110 psi not sure when it cuts in. I have piggy backed a commpressor fitted where the cd changer was and run outlets front and rear. the idea was to use the tank but a seperate commpressor as i still have EAS. works well. can take some pics when i get my car back in a couple of weeks if that helps.
