For some applications, they are better.(e.g. pan hard rod bushes). In others (like radius arm bushes), they can reduce articulation and you are better off with rubber.
Hope this helps.
What`s the general consesus on Nolathane bushes
Are they worth installing??

Nolathane bushes are generally stiffer and less able to flex than rubber bushes. So like any material they are better suited to some jobs than others. Some specific nolathane bushes are designed with extra voids in them to counteract this problem. Where the movement is mostly rotation they generally last well but they aren't as good in flexing situations like the radius rods as mentioned.
I had a suspension joint fit Nothathane bushes to my wifes Falcon Castor rod... They said they were good.
My wife nearly had a very serious accident when the Rod snapped behind the nolathane bush.
Ford spares said they rarely sell the castor bars as they rarely broke.
I immediately replaced them with OEM rubber ones and haven't been keen to use Nolathane since. There is no give
have a search for Super Pro poly bushes, much better than nolathane, and a prefered choice over standard rubber![]()
Arent the Haultech ones supposed to be good?

I use to work for Toyota and I know that an 80 Series with Nolathane Bushes will crack the axle housing if used on rough roads.
If the normal bushes were used there were few problems.
