Check for a blown fuse, caused by the wiring across the front of the engine having worn through its insulation. I can't remember which fuse though.
A bit of history first.
- Nanocom showed no airflow from the MAF in my Disco
- Swapped it into brothers disco where his MAF was reading correctly and mine showed no airflow
- Purchased new MAF from UK
- Used contact cleaner on electrical socket
- Nanocom still showing no airflow
Although I have not been able to check that the new MAF is working in another vehicle, nor checked that a working MAF show up as no airflow in my vehicle, where is the likely bad electrical connection?
The problem show itself as an intermittent fault on the ECU, but shows zero airflow in the fueling values. When engine is not operating but power on to the ECU, it reads a value of 4.15 in the fueling values.
Has anyone else had this issue, if so where should I look for the culprit?
Thanks in advance.

I've had that too. I think its the loom that runs across under the front of the engine cover.
