Tow Bar for Range Rover Sport 2008

I need some help re the tow bar set up for a Range Rover Sport 2008 and a 2+ Ton off road caravan.

The tow bar height I need for the caravan is 580-mm.
The factory tow bar on my Range Rover Sports 2008 model is only 430-mm

If we fit a D4 tow bar it sits low and ugly below the bumper and the hayman Reece hitch would sit too far out to be rated for more than 1250kg.

Does anyone know how to raise the tow bar to 580 mm without reducing the tow bar weight from 3500kg?

    All replies and advice appreciated.

Standard towbar heights are roughly 400-450mm off the ground. So I'd be looking to modify the caravan.
Otherwise you'll need to modify every vehicle that ever tows it.

    Thanks Dougal

That was my suggestion too - but why would any caravan manufacturer make a tow ball height non standard?

that was going to be my suggestion to. Although it was developed for the D3, I assume the RRS uses the same plough and is worth a look. Would need to check the profile of the bumper to make sure you can still fit it.
