Thread: SE Brisbane Defender Airconditioning Servicing

Hi

My '95 Defender aircon is not working properly. New compressor, regassed etc. If you turn the thermostat past 11 o'clock on the dial, it seems to run ok for 5 minutes then appears to ice up and stop cooling. If I keep the thermostat less than 11 o'clock, it cycles on and off OK, but never gets real cool.

We all know the defender aircon is not too flash, but even my old County was better than this.

Can anyone recommend an aircon place, ideally on the south east side of Brisbane who understands defender airconditioning ? Most places just seem to shake their heads.
