Thread: Nanocom - Brisvegas

Yo Trendsetters ... Help Needed


After a favour if possible. I'm going with Tombie2's chip flashing, so I'm asking if anyone in/around Brisvegas has a Nanocom and would exchange a few minutes of their valueable time (I'll supply the beer ) to help me.

I turn up with the firmware upgrade on a USB, then stand aside and watch ... a gnat has more knowledge of what's involved than I do ..

Any takers ??

Cant help you as i'm over west... however to make it more appealing to your would be helpers it will take more than a few minutes... therefore you will have to provide a bit more beer!

By the way... make sure you save your existing map before upgrading... should your engine not like the new map. i think it took me about 20 minutes.. including backing up and uploading the maps.. the nanocom isnt very quick at sending and receiving data!

I have just done tombies mild chip as im not allowed to purchase an intercooler yet.. huge difference just with that.. a little smokey when your heavy footed.. but nothing different to our disco too.. a little boost adjustment and the intercooler should solve that... and then i'll be going for a little something else from mr tombie...
