I've never seen a V8 with that tacho.
I would assume it is only for the 2L MPI straight 4 cylinder engine, as seen in the video.

Did any local V8 engines get fitted with that tacho here?
I've only ever seen the white ones scaled to 6000 rpm.

I think that might be the later Thor manifold.
No Thor has Motronic and has a tubular IAC which is NOT a stepper. It is a valve like a sleeve valve mounted remotely. It is not an idle adjuster like the 14CUX stepper but completely controls Idle speed as it has about a 20MM inlet and outlet hose.
It is the same part number as a BMW E36 IAC. I have a spare in the garage which came with my Thor and checked it against my E36.
